Philosophy

To produce doctor of fine arts graduates who integrate art and design knowledge and skills "in conjunction with" creative research methodologies. cross-disciplinary integration on the foundation of arts and culture and local wisdom to create new knowledge or innovation that responds to social and economic situations in both local and international contexts

To produce Doctor of Fine Arts graduates who integrate art and design knowledge and skills in cooperation with creative research methodologies for contributing a new cross-disciplinary knowledge on the foundation of local art and culture with responsibility for society and economic situations in both local and international contexts.

Objective

1.To produce an artist or designer with knowledge and skills in applying academic knowledge for systematically creating their works or innovation in art and design.
2. To produce an artist or designer with abilities to create a new knowledge or a new approach of creation in the field of art and design.
3. To produce an artist or designer with abilities to accomplish theoretical information together with statistical analysis related to the creation of art or design, and to communicate across disciplines and responsible for all aspects of impact.
4. To produce an artist or designer with teamwork skills and appropriately responsible for society, culture, environment, and other emerging phenomena.
